To resurrect the true meaning of education , the school believes that sports are an indispensable part of education therefore it has evolved a mandatory involvement of all students in sports & games.
Sports are a part of the curriculum and help to maintain physical and mental health which is of great importance in a student’s life.
Sports activities help in increasing concentration which is helpful in studies. For a student, academics and sports should go hand in hand. BBPS organizes Sports Day in which the students participate as per their aptitude and physical strength.
16 students from BBPS, Ldh participated and displayed their grit and karate skills in this competition. BBPS students bagged 4 Gold, 1 Silver and 7 Bronze medals and had the best tally from any school in India or Nepal.
Bal Bharati Students brought laurels to the school by winning 4 Gold,2 Silver and 3 Bronze Medals in National Skating Championship
Bal Bharatians participated in Aspire Open Table Tennis Tournament where in under-12 category Nimish Kalra got 1st position and Rishit Mehta bagged 2nd position.
Total 12 students participated in Championship and achieved 9 Gold, 4 Silver and 4 Bronze medals.
Total 90 students participated in 8th Punjab State Karate Championship in this championship and bagged 20 Gold, 15 Silver and 21 Bronze Medals.
BBPS participated in LSSC Table Tennis Championship wherein girls were declared winners in U-16 category and Boys got third in U-14 category.
Akshat Sood of Class VII achieved 3rd position in Doubles U–13 Category.
In Ludhiana Punjab School Zonal Table-Tennis Tournament, Bal Bharatians achieved 1st position in U-17 Girls and 2nd position in U-14 Girls and 2nd position in U-14 Boys category.
BBPS students participated in Ludhiana School District Table Tennis Competition held at Ropar wherein (Rizul and Shruti)won gold medals in U-14 category, Under-17 girls team (Anayat, Manveen, Vaani, Muskaan) won silver medals and U-14 Boys category(Nimish and Jaskirat) won gold medals.
8 students participated in U-14 and U-16 category in Open District Athletics Championship wherein they scored 3 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze medal.
7th All India BBPS Inter Unit Sports Meet was held at New Delhi where students got 4 Silver and 4 Bronze medals in Athletics.
BBPS students won 5 Silver and 3 Bronze medals in Sahodaya Karate Championship
